Family from down under! (Weekend of Oct 2nd)

Stephen has a lot of family members in Australia and, because of the distance, has not met many of them. His cousin, Glen, was recently transferred from Australia to San Francisco and decided to take a holiday to NYC. His lovely girlfriend, Aerliah, joined him and we were fortunate enough to get to spend a day with them.

We met up with them, had lunch at the Route 66 diner in Hell's Kitchen and enjoyed a long stroll around central park. They are both lovely individuals and we look forward to keeping in touch with them over the years.





Stephen and I "discovered" a park in Bayonne that we did not know about. We wish we would have found it sooner so we could have enjoyed it over the summer but better late than never.

The park has swings and other toys for babies and is the perfect place for a walk along the water. I have also been told that there is a bird sanctuary down there and we are keen to have a look some day.
